World Book Day

We all enjoyed World Book Day today.  P2 visited three classrooms to hear stories from Miss Grant, Mrs Tulloch and Miss Williamson.  Look at us all dressed up from different decades and as characters from our favourite books.

Ask your child to tell you all about it – which story did they like best?

Inverness Musical Festival

A huge thank you to everyone who offered to help us travel to and from Eden Court on Tuesday 5th March.  We had so many offers that we picked names out of a ‘hat’ and have contacted our helpers.

Please come along and support us on Tuesday, tickets can be pre-booked or bought on the day at Eden Court Box Office – an adult ticket costs £4.

We are super proud of all the children and our singing is coming on so well.

Hope to see you there :-).

Digital Citizenship Week 2019

P2 loved having the Digital Leaders visiting us.  We had great fun with the Bee-bots, Code-a-pillars and Coding on the Chromebooks.

We read about keeping our passwords and personal details safe and deciding when we need to ask for and give permission.

P6 came to visit and they helped us use the Voice Typing in Google Docs on the Chromebooks.
Here we are telling the P6s and the Chromebooks (of course!) how to make shortbread and why we made it.

Cross Country Training

Cross Country Training will be held every Tuesday starting Tuesday 12th February 2019 at 12pm – 12.30pm for those in P2 who wish to take part.  Children should dress in appropriate running/PE clothing according to the weather and wear trainers.

Please complete the permission slip sent home and return to the school as soon as possible.

If you are selected for the team, you will need to continue training until the competition dates in March. 🙂
