Goodbye Miss Oliver

Milton of Leys Primary School

This short blog post is designed to give a wee update on one of our dearest and longest serving members of staff-Christine Oliver.

As many of you will know, Miss Oliver was at MOL when the school first opened in Aug’11 and has worked as a PSA since that first day.

She has now officially been given the approval to begin early retirement and so officially leaves MOL on Dec 17th.

Although she has not been at MOL for a wee while now, she has always been very much a part of our team and to some of the older children, she remains a much loved staff member.

I am delighted that she is now able to fully focus on herself and look forward to a very healthy and rewarding next chapter of her life.

On behalf of all of the pupils and staff, thank you Christine and goodbye!

MOL Market – Only 3 Days To Go

Milton of Leys Primary School

Only  three days to go until P7 open their Christmas MOL Market doors to the public!

Today we would like to introduce The Crochet Team.

Crochet Head Bands

This year we have added cosy crochet head bands to our catalogue of quality Christmas products available for sale! A team of eight primary seven boys and girls have learned to crochet this term! They have been taught by our resident crochet expert Ms Murray. The headbands are created using wool and decorated using buttons to create a simple but very sophisticated and classy looking piece of winter head wear!

This year we have at least forty head bands available to sell:

XS and S – £5

M and L- £6.50

Doors open at 2pm on Wednesday 28th November.
